Handover and Container Loading

Handover Instructions – Terminal loading

The container will be packed by the forwarder at the terminal.

To ensure correct container packing, it is mandatory that goods are handed over sorted and prepared as follows:

  • Goods must be handed over before the cut-off deadline
  • Goods must be handed over in full quantity per order (no split deliveries)
  • Goods must be handed over sorted by:
    • Order / Purchase Number
    • Color
    • Assortment / Size
  • Cartons with the same product barcode must be grouped together
  • All cartons must be clearly labelled and ready for container packing

As a supplier, you are accountable for ensuring that these instructions are clearly communicated to the handler and the forwarder when delivering goods to the terminal.

Even if the supplier does not physically pack the container, it remains the supplier’s responsibility to ensure that PWT’s packing instructions are followed.

  • Pack layers vertically as illustrated in the provided diagram

Important Note: As a supplier for PWT, you are accountable for ensuring correct container packing. Even if you do not physically pack the container yourself, it is your responsibility to clearly explain our packing instructions to the handler when delivering goods at the terminal.
