Sales samples are fundamental to make a good sale, samples must be delivered on time and made in correct quality and color.
Terms for sales samples
- Samples must be delivered before the specified deadline.
- Samples must be of the correct quality, composition, and color.
- Samples must include all correct details and trimming.
- Samples must be delivered with correct labels and packing materials and SMS stickers.
- Samples delivered after the deadline are free of charge.
Payment of Sales samples
Payment terms for sales samples must be agreed upon in business terms between the specific supplier and buyer.
Sales sample order
Style programs will be sent along with “Sample order” specifying:
- Actual sale
- Sample sending deadline.
- Sample quantity, size, and color.
- Style number
- Quality information (full details required once quality is settled, including composition, construction, weight, finishing).
- Comments
- Bulk order placement date (when PWT Brands will place the bulk order with the supplier)
- Bulk order shipment date (the ON BOARD date for the bulk order).
Sales sample approval procedure
Approval samples must be sent for confirmation within two weeks after the sample order program is delivered to the supplier.
- 1st sample: Can be made in available similar quality and color for approval of style and measurement.
- Quality: Quality sample in correct color for main fabric, rib, lining etc.
- Lab dip: colors must follow the correct Pantone or color reference.
- Print, embroidery strike off: For confirmation of quality, artwork, and colors.
- Trim submissions: For confirmation of quality, artwork, and colors.
Sales sample as pre-production-sample
In some cases, sales samples can be used as pre-production samples. Therefore, it is important the sales sample are accurate.
If there are adjustments from sales samples to bulk production, a PP sample will be required for confirmation. PP sample will be requested on bulk order sheet.
Sales sample form
The Shipment of sales samples form must be filled out, enclosed with the sample, and attached on each short side of the export cartons.
